More about Feng Shui
The old saying is: “qi (energy) is dispersed by the wind, and retained by the water”. What does it mean? We can simply say that the wind brings the qi to the house, and we use water to retain the qi in order to tap into the good energy. Thus we know that the qi will affect our health, wealth, relationships, and definitely our overall well-being.
Knowing how to balance and harmonize the qi around us; knowing how, where and when it interacts with us is the study of Feng Shui. A house may be fortunate in a period of time and unfortunate in the next period. This is due to the change of qi in different periods. Each period brings a new vibration of energy and lasts for 20 years. We are now in Period 8, which began in February 2004 and will end in February 2014.
The fact is that the same house is affected by the change of energy at different time and space, this is why sometimes we see some people enjoying great wealth and good health in one period and (sadly) not the next. Likewise, life in the house may be fortunate for Peter, but unfortunate for Paul.

Introduction to Feng Shui

Feng is wind and Shui is water. Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese art and wisdom principally practised by the Chinese/Asian population, and now widely adopted by Westerners as well. It is the study of "Qi" (pronounced chi, meaing energy), how our environments can affect our living and how to balance and harmonize the different energies surrounding us. The objective is to improve our home and for us to live a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life.
- find a good home to live in;
- use the color schemes and shapes of objects to harmonize our living space;
- place our beds correctly to gain a restful and peaceful night;
- improve our health and relationships
- help advance our career;
- inrease our wealth potential.

Power of thought and Distant Healing
When we heard that our friend had an accident or another who lost a loved one, the first thing that came to our mind is to say a prayer. Some of us would even send our prayer thoughts automatically hoping that it would help “miraculously” pacify and strengthen his/her state of mind, at the least, s/he is assured of our love and our support.
I don't believe that this is religious, it's about our state of mind, be it physical, or emotional; by doing so, we hope that it will give them a certain harmony with the universal energy around them and that they will stay positive. We also called this “power of thought”, we know that it is dynamic, and sometimes it even works wonder.
What about the healers? When professional healers perform their work of healing, is it to be disregarded? Because these healers are born gifted, they tend to offer FREE services. However, the “patients” when healed will always, at their own discretion, show their gratitude by making a donation. A good healer will also not go against any medical institutions, as a matter of fact, they will not want you to depend on them entirely, instead always advise you to continue consulting your medical doctors.
Are we healers as well?

How much food is too much?
I believe eating healthy is the key to our good health... it isn't important how many times you eat in a day. Personally, I can't remember how many times I ate daily when I was younger, but I'm sure I followed at least the standard 3 meals a day formula. As we grow older, we need less calories to burn. I have been on two meals for the past couple of years and I feel great! I used to have a glass of juice with a cup of black tea as breakfast, just recently I changed to a glass of soya bean milk and a big cup with orange, lemon and honey mixed hot drink for breakfast. A good proper balanced lunch with rice, potatoes or spaghetti; and for dinner, a handful of fruits. Have you noticed that I did not mention any sweet desserts? I'm slim and in good health. I should be a model citizen for our Health care institution LOL!
